  • Address Details: Pickup and delivery addresses, including suburb, street, and unit number
  • Order Information: Service selections, special instructions, order history, and delivery preferences
  • Payment Information: Payment method details (processed securely through third-party payment processors — we do not store full card details)
  • Communications: Messages exchanged with our drivers and support team through the in-app chat
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version for optimisation

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

  • Process and fulfil your laundry orders
  • Coordinate pickup and delivery with our drivers
  • Send order confirmations, status updates, and delivery notifications
  • Respond to your enquiries and support requests
  • Improve our services and user experience
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Information Sharing

We only share your information with:

  • Our Drivers: Your name, phone number, and address are shared with our assigned driver for pickup and delivery coordination
  • Payment Processors: Payment information is transmitted securely to our third-party payment gateway (Yoco / PayFast) for transaction processing
  • Service Providers: Cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, MongoDB Atlas) who store data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements

We never sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

  • 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmission
  • Encrypted password storage using bcrypt hashing
  • Short-lived JWT access tokens (24 hours) with refresh token rotation
  • Database access restricted to authenticated services only
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account remains active. Order history is retained for a minimum of three years for tax and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications
